Senior Pastor Dennis and Carolyn Ross

Upon graduation from the Grand Rapids School of the Bible & Music in 1978, Dennis felt called to be a carpenter and to serve as a layman in the local church. Ministering in various capacities for 20 years at Whitneyville Bible Church in Alto, MI (S.S. teacher, Youth leader, Awana Commander, Men’s ministries, Deacon and Elder) has uniquely prepared him for full-time service.

Rev. Ross was the Pastor of Thornapple Bible Church in Caledonia, MI from 1999 to 2007. When Thornapple Bible Church dissolved in 2007, Dennis returned to Whitneyville Bible where he served 2 more years as a layman while waiting for God’s call to another church.

In March 2009 Dennis became Interim Pastor at Nevins Lake Church, accepting the call to be Senior Pastor in June of 2009. Both Dennis and Carolyn are grateful for the opportunity to serve the Lord at Nevins Lake.
